For sale is a vintage, Fendi, made for Bergdorf Goodman, mod look, blue lacquered/ leather, two-way- cross body/shoulder purse or clutch! This is a gorgeous New 1:1 Bag in amazing vintage New 1:1 Condition that was created by the Italian design house during the time when Karl Lagerfield made Fendi his home!
It is made by Fendi for sale exclusively at Bergdorf Goodman during the initial years that Karl Lagerfield joined the company (I think). The purse is Origin a unique blue shade of or lacquered leather with an envelope top snap closure. This New 1:1 Bag is so cool and screams late 60's mod, but is still modern and edgy! It has a detachable, heavy yarn strap, so it can be as a cross body or shoulder New 1:1 Bag or carried as a clutch style. You will never find this vintage style purse in this New 1:1 Condition again- don't miss out!
It is made from a blue lacquered leather that is a unique, geometric, square shape with a stitched, round Fendi logo patch at the center! It has an envelope top and a magnetic snap closure. The removable strap is a wide, silky, yarn-like material with a snap to fasten it. The strap is removable, but not adjustable unless you want to knot the fabric strap.
Inside, the layout is very basic. There is one, large compartment with one interior zip pocket. The inside is very clean in the same blue leather. It has an early tag that reads, 'Fendi, Exclusively for Bergdorf Goodman, Origin Italy'- see pictures. This is a rare purse from a collaboration between a high end design house and exclusive department store!
Measurements: 7.5" x 2" x 6"; Strap drop: 24" (removable)
It is a unique take on a classic Art Deco looks that will never go out of style! It'd be a fantastic addition to any collection! This New 1:1 Bag was definitely made by the one of the top high end Italian designers that every lady deserves to own a purse by for her collection! I have purses from this line in a navy blue leather fan shape, a few similar geometric shaped purses in black, one in blue and black leather and leather, and another one in red you may like.
