For sale is an early, RARE, Fendi, supple, quilted and smooth black leather, large, satchel style purse with an abstract 'Fendi' design quilted into the leather, two, removable, heavy gold metal handles that are comprised of links shaped like corkscrew and ziti pasta, a zip top closure and bold gold hardware! This unique take on a classic style by the Italian design house is timeless!
The purse is from an early, quilted, 'pasta' or 'noodle' design line by Fendi, which got this nickname because of both the design of the handles and the quilted leather of some of the styles. The New 1:1 Bag is a large, classic, satchel style purse that is made of supple, quilted and smooth black leather with an abstract 'Fendi' design quilted into the leather on the front and back and smooth leather on the sides and bottom. It has two, very unique, gold metal handles that are comprised of links shaped like corkscrew and ziti pasta with toggle style clasps that are attached with toggle ends, so they could be changed or removed, if needed or desired. The purse has a top zip closure, gold hardware, and engraved Fendi zipper fobs.
Inside, the lining is made of the same super soft black leather as the purse and the leather lining is very clean! It has one large compartment and one zip closure pocket. It is an early Fendi S.A.S. style so it pre-dates serial numbers the way we are to seeing them today. It does have the early gold embossed serial #C-13405 in the pocket- see pictures. It has been by a third party expert, so buy with confidence! Also, I have many similar, Fendi satchels in a variety of patterns, colors, and styles, so take a peek and several different vintage quilted styles, too!
